Can Pesto access my customer or order data?

No. The Pesto app only requests theme read/write permissions. It has zero access to customer information, orders, payment data, or any other sensitive store data.

Does it work with custom Shopify themes?

Yes. Pesto works with Dawn, any Theme Store theme, and fully custom themes. It reads your theme structure and adapts to your specific sections and snippets.

Can Pesto install or modify Shopify apps?

No. Pesto only modifies theme files (Liquid, CSS, JavaScript, JSON). It cannot install apps, modify app configurations, or interact with third-party app code.

What happens if I don't like a change?

Since all changes happen on a draft theme, you can simply discard the draft and your live store remains unchanged. You can also ask Pesto to revert specific edits.
